Join us this year for the Intermountain Excellence in Trauma Care Conference! This event will be held September 28-29, 2017, at the Grand Summit Hotel in Park City, Utah, and has been designed with the latest advances, research, and techniques for the seasoned and recently inducted trauma and critical care professional.

Purpose 

The purpose of this conference is to provide an annual, multi-day conference for seasoned and recently inducted trauma and critical care professional. We will provide fundamental training in caring for patients who are traumatically injured and/or critically ill. This conference will provide intense, up-to-date training, evidence-based lectures, hands-on procedural training, and breakout sessions focusing on clinical skill, research, and administrative needs.​​​

Target Audience

This conference will target all health care professionals who practice in Trauma and Critical Care, including physicians, advanced practice clinicians, pre-hospital medics and nurses. This educational activity is based on a team approach to care for the patient in the golden hour following injury and during hospitalization.​​​

Intermountain Healthcare Continuing Medical Education is accredited by Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

Intermountain Healthcare Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Intermountain Healthcare CME adheres to ACCME Standards regarding industry support of continuing medical education and disclosure of faculty and commercial sponsor relationships (if any) will be made known at the activity.

This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request 15.25 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME credit from the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Total number of approved credits yet to be determined.

Intermountain Healthcare CME is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Western Multi-State Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Utah Nurses Associations are members of the Western Multi-State Division of the American Nurses Association.


This educational activity offers 13.2 nursing contact hours. Successful completion is attendance at each day’s presentations. Credit is awarded for the number of sessions fully attended.
