Electronic Health Records

The Federal Recovery Act (ARRA) was signed into law in February 2009. The HITECH Art, part of the ARRA, provides financial incentives to physicians practices and hospitals that install certified EHR technology and use it in “meaningful” ways.

There are financial opportunities for physicians to use a certified Electronic Health Record that is used in meaningful ways.
