Purpose

This educational activity will discuss current issues and trends in sleep medicine and how to better prepare for future changes as well as better serve our patients.

Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate clinical practices and make changes to participants knowledge and practice in order to be more prepared for future changes
  • Identify recent technologies that are impacting sleep medicine and how they can implement those new technologies to improve patient outcomes
  • Discuss new ideas with other sleep professionals that will enable them to give the best patient care possible while being fiscally responsible in their practice

Target Audience

Sleep techs — registered and non-registered, respiratory therapists, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, physicians, and electroencephalogram techs.


Intermountain Healthcare Continuing Medical Education is accredited by Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

Intermountain Healthcare Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) application has been submitted, accreditation is pending approval.

Registration is now open. The fee is $75 through January 31. On February 1, the fee for registration changes to $85. A $35 discount is available for members of the Sleep Society.

Note: If you need to cancel, please contact the Intermountain CME office.  Participants who notify the Intermountain CME office of their intent to cancel 2 weeks or less prior to the activity will receive a refund amounting to 50% of registration fees.  There will be no refunds issued to participants who do not attend or fail to notify the Intermountain CME office of their intent to cancel.
